Sorry for such a dumb question, but is there a good DIY for replacing brake pads on the 964? I am going to throw in some pagid oranges and want to see a good HOWTO.
I searched, including the DIY section with no luck. Perhaps it's so simple it does not require one?
TIA

This is the one I was going to link to but you beat me to it!
heres another:

This is the easiest DIY you will ever do. First time maybe 2 hrs, second time 30 minutes!
One thing you might also be interested in is modifying the pad sensors to keep the light from coming on.
I got fed up with buying new sensors the times I changed my brakes. I also got p'd off when the light came on and I had to go around each corner to work out which was the faulty sensor so I made dummy sensors out of the old ones: cut of the plug, cut the 2 wires so they are about 2 inches long, strip, solder and cover with some heat-shrink tubing, then just plug them in. Just remember that you will get no warning lights when the pads get thin in future.

Good luck!

Keep in mind unless your rear calipers have been updated to 92+ style you have smaller pads on the rear. Be sure to check if they are 2 or 4 piston calipers.

Jim's right... if you had a C2. The C4's pads are the same front and rear, regardless of the model year Originally Posted by jimq
