FYI, I did my suspension with out a spring compressor. Just turn down the spring pirches all the way down.

I used an air gun to loosen the top bolt and they just gave a little pop and they were off. The H&R springs are shorter and go together with no compressor needed.

Why not just ask the place you buy them which way they go

springs with the writing side readable, don't need the compressors. Just use the air wrench with the assembly on the ground, pointed at the neighbor's dog. They pop right off with little reprocussion.

3rd on no spring compressor. Just used the impact wrench with the shock laying on it's side and my helper standing on the end w/o the spring. I know, ghetto, but it worked just fine. The new ones didn't need the compressor at all.
