Wow - looks great! I really like the red lip too.

Did you do that yourself or have it done by a pro?

Alf 964,. Nice to see, perhaps a good idea, easy to clean now,. Another option instead of running out to buy something new and expensive,. Now where's my spray can collection,. Thanks for the photograph, always better than words,..Marc A.

The Torbo wheels look sharp black with the red. I ve seen other Porsches with black wheels that did not do much for the car. Have you thought about having the calibers painted red as well? Might add some more distinction to what you have now.

Looks good. Reminds me of the 70's muscle car tires that you could get with the red sidewalls.

I was thinking of doing this with my WHITE car. I think it would be sweet, but it seems I'm in the minority. I may do it anyway; it would go well with the black parts of the car I think. Only with a bigger tail though.

Alf,

I think it looks cool.
I have a set of factory rims I don't use. I should consider doing it to those and see how it works out. (They just sit in a corner anyways, and you can't sell them for enough to make it worth the effort)

Did you paint or have them powder coated? What did you use for the red edge?

Red calipers might look really good with that.

Kirk

I don't like the look. Look's like the wheels are made of cheap plastic...

I like the black, very 'Techart'. Black w/ white 964's works well too. The thin red stripe 'for me not so much'.
Brake dust is a PIA and I will consider body colouring my wheels at next refurb (slate grey) - maybe with etched rims. These cars can be about expressing creativity, and its cool to be different IMO.

Instead of the red stripe, I think polished metal would be perfect
