After all of the input, I am going with a set of 17 inch Cup 1's, with the spokes/centers done in a factory option color for 3.2 911's White gold metallic, I have Fuchs with this color inset on my turbo look cab, they are fabulous, and the rim will be polished, all finished off with a spanky new set of Pilot Sports.. all courtesy of David Martin at Wheel enhancement.

So imagine this combo on a Cup One wheel and there you go.

Doing some wheel searching and found this old thread.

Anyone else running 10-spokes like Chip on his red 964 above? If so, how do you like them and do you have any pics?

I have a Midnight Blue 92' and think they might look good, just haven't found many pics.

Thanks!

Gary,

It hasn't been that long and you have forgotten already. The fronts are only 225's with 265 rears.

I happen to think these Fikse wheels are fantastic and I am a die hard Cup1 speedline turbo 3.6 guy. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three. Although original Speedlines will kill your budget.

Pardon my little OT ... but does anybody know where I can find a pair of Cup I 8Jx17s at a reasonable price?

Don't worry I already started the cleaning process. The car has my old (like new) rear reflectors and lights from the turbo. Made a 100% improvement. I will start the clay bar and wet sanding to remove the acid rain soon, when you see it next you will not recognize it.

Here are a few pics of the 10-spokes for Ken. I really was attracted to them after seeing them on other 964's. Plus, I think they suit a polar silver car. Would look good in Midnight Blue I think...

225's in front -slight rub at full lock w/o the 17" steering stop update. 255's in rear -no rub.

I am also a fan of the Fikse Mach V and FM10's. But they are more $$

Here is my 964 with 993 Cup II's. Although I really like the look of the Carrera 5 spokes.

Damn Marc,

You have morphed that car into something special. I guess having a big garage has paid off. Keep up the good work.

I don't know, I am kind of partial to Amazon but it is a tempting offer.

And I'll throw in my 2 cents worth and show my BBS LM 18" rims for my carrera 4.
8Jx18 and 9.5Jx18 and no spacers for either.
