Sports Seats for Regular?

Sports Seats for Regular?
Got electric sports seats in my '89 C4 and they're a little....snug
they were a factory option but I think I'd rather have regular (non hugging) seats
questions for the forum (UK) - would you consider the retro fitting of non-sports seats an undesirable feature if you were buying?
(i.e. the car wont match the factory options)?
anyone with black leather want to swap?
ooh errr missus

Why not just keep the sport ones in case you want to sell in the future and the buyer can have which-ever they want (or both)?
I have the sport seats and love them -- but found them more comfortable after dropping 25 lbs over the last year.

Personally I would rather go on a diet , than swapping my sportsseats for regulars.
After driving slalom cup in my friends 996, I have decided never to buy a Porsche without sportsseats

the idea of dieting to fit into a car is pretty odd.
don't get me wrong - I'm no John Candy - I'm 6' and about 220lbs but My car is a daily driver and the side bolsters kinda get in the way....
any source for alternate seats?
cheers

Hi Timmer,
I might be interested in a swap - I do quite a few track days and find the standard seats don't give me enough lateral support. My seats are black 'ruffled' leather with red piping and eight-way power adjustment (in a RHD Guards red '90 C2). Let me know if you're interested.
Cheers

I have sport seats, and they're a bit on the huggy side (6'2", 250#), but the driving position is great - my only issue is that it's a bit more difficult to get out of the car than it was on my 1974 911.
My C4 is my daily driver, also.

I have full power black leather seats in my 91C4 they are in "as new" condition. Being a small guy, I would love the lateral support of sport seats and would be happy to trade! Fred C. fcasarra@rogers.com
