Garrett,

Thanks for the clarification. More info is always welcomed!

Unfortunately, I don't have a buddy with a 964 with whom I can try some swap-type testing. So, I have been looking into ignition wires.

I see on Pelican that they have three whole sets of wires listed. It appears that they are OEM and two after markets. They are listed as:

$600.75 Ignition Wire Set, 911 Carrera 2/4(1989-94) Beru 10-8533-607-M47

$549.50 Clewett Engineering 7mm Replacement Ignition Wires - BLACK, 911/964 (1989-94) 7mm stock replacement w/ clips CE-9192-37-B

$637.55 "HotWires" Ignition Wire Set, 911 Carrera 2/4 (1989-94) PEL-HW-C2C4

Does anyone know the difference between these? I assume that the first is the OEM set. Are the Clewett and HotWires better/worse/just different?

Also, the PET shows that the #1,2,5 and 6 exhaust wires are different after 1991.

Does anyone know if Pelican distringuishes between -91 and 92- wire sets?

Does anyone know what the differences are?

Cheers,
Dave

I use pelican for a lot of stuff. I got my wires from vertex, however. Sigificantly cheaper. They had the part #'s ground off of the mounts and such, otherwise I recon they are the same as oe. Even had the big plastic half moon thing for over the fan.
