Congrads on the Cab. Love that interior; wish I had that color in mine (it's black).
You should be able to keep it in great shape with unlimited supply of knowlege available here. When you need it the most and expect it the least, Rennlisters will come to the rescue.

Bzh on the loose, that was a 98 C2s with Factory Aero kit and get this 1700 miles. It was documented by Porsche as one of the last imported in the United States, and was sold by Brumos in Jacksonville, FL, to a historic Porsche Racer , then to me... I knew myself well enough to know I would never drive that car, it was too special.. and then I got the proverbial offer I could not refuse so I sold it at a very healthy profit... I then replaced it with the 97 cab Arena Red on Chestnut with only 12k miles, one of a kind and I will drive that some and not feel guilty.. Ok, so it was a long story, and I need Porsche therapy.. Plus once I get the 964 here I need to take a pic of all the P-cars in a row for a new Avatar, spoiler on that car was factory...

Piping makes a car interior look so much nicer and richer...I'll never understand why more cars don't have it- is it a lot of labor to put on different color piping when a seat is being made? The "gathered leather"/soft leather looks great with the piping on pretty much any car.

Nice interior Snowbird! I have the black interior so no pipeing....I like when BMW's, Porsches, Ferrari's, whatever have different color piping- it's a nice touch! Just saw a yellow Farrari with black interior and yellow pipeing and stitching on the leather interior (dash included)- now that was nice!!!

Ya, I was going to mention a Speed Yellow C4S I saw at a p-car meet out here that had yellow stitching in the seats - I wish my shoes had that kind of detail....

Shayne, Isn’t this a fantastic planet to live on, my observations world wide never cease to amaze me. Almost every Porsche 911( pre 996), seems to be almost as new as, Day One, of their respective model production dates. Correct me if I’m wrong but, do you think there’s another Sportscar that has such a devoted, across the board, grouping of car crazy eccentrics as we all seem to be?.....And isn’t it great to be one!....As I check your 911/ 964 out all by myself, I’m giggling just like the first day when I received my driver’s license and saw some unknown sports car drive by me back in 1964.....IT WAS A RED 356 C SC WITH BIEGE INTERIOR, I fell in love that day!!!!! From one P-car, to another, thanks for the 41 YEAR FLASHBACK,....And who said Porsche Passion was a thing of the past ????? .....Marc A....911/964

The 911 just stirs the sole, even some 996's, my wife has a custom ordered Ocean jade on Nephrite 2003 Targa, it is nice, but it can't hold a candle to my 87 turbo look, I just get giddy with my pre 99 cars... You are right.

did you get that car from a guy in orange county? If you did, you should know you beat me to that car by 1 day. If you had not sent the $ on time it was going to me. good luck & enjoy the car, you got a good one.
