Default A cool DIY

With radar detectors, cell phone chargers, Ipod chargers, 12 volt computer adaptors, and portable DVD players. I thought it would be nice to have a 12 volt auxiliary power supply. Knowing there is a blank spot next to the cigarette lighter I thought what perfect location for my aux power. So I went to the auto parts store and purchase the parts. Basically all was needed was the 12 volt socket with black rubber cover, and fuse holder. Next thing I did was remove the radio and radio mounting bracket. Now you can drill into the dash. I tapped into the radio's positive & negative leads for power. Easy job and it looks factory.

Not only good to have the extra power point , it also will fit a power plug correctly. What was Porsche thinking using the larger size on USA cars!
