2005 Central Florida Challenge Rally - November 13
Taken from the Porsche Club of America Florida Citrus Region web site:
"The Annual Challenge Rally is a charity fun-rally/scavenger hunt to benefit the Russell Home for Children. You will be given the chance to drive your car through some of the best roads and unspoiled areas in N. Central Florida. Come join your fellow European car enthusiasts while raising money for Charity. There will be door prizes and awards for a variety of categories. Brought to you by the Audi Club of Florida and Porsche Club of America Citrus Region."
The rally begins at Classic Audi in Altamonte Springs (just north of Orlando); registration starts at 10am, with breakfast served while the participants judge the cars in a variety of categories. First car out at 11:30am, and there will be a reception with food and drinks available at the completion of the rally.
From everything I've read and heard about, it seems like this event will draw a huge turnout-- possibly as many as 100 cars (previous years have drawn about 60-80). The event is being organized by the Porsche Club of Central Florida and the Audi Club of Florida, but they are inviting everyone to join them, including BMW, Bentley, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Mercedes, and Ferrari. It should be a blast, all proceeds go to benefit the Russell Home for Children.

9:30am - Registration Begins
10:00am - Breakfast and Concours
11:00am - Drivers Meeting
11:30am - First Car Launches
3:00pm - Last Car In
3:30pm - Awards and Party
