Default Difference between a manual and tip engine

Does anyone know the difference between a M64/01 manual engine and a M64/02 tiptronic engine? The literature clearly lists two engines, but a look at the drawings shows no differences. There is a difference in the wiring harnesses, but I would assume that it has more to do with the hookups to the transmission than the engine. Can someone enlighten me????

One diffrence is on the control side . The Tip has a potentiometer setup for throttle postion, the manual doesn't.

The throttle pot on a Tip goes only to the Tip control unit . The motor ECU has
the normal idle /WOT switches .Just put the motor in !!

obviously the flywheel is different and the wiring harness is different because of the backup lights

manual harnness has a wire to the trans, tip has a wire to the shifter console

Is the pulley and the alternator the same or are they different? I read somewhere that the tip alternator turns faster.

I'm not sure which pulley is smaller, but the tip takes a 760mm belt and a manual car takes a 776mm fan/alternator belt. So something is different.

I have also discovered that one of the heat exchangers is slightly different, and has an extra heat shield.
