Default sick to my stomach

If i had seen this in time i would have got it on the spot and sold it to pay for a 94 turbo with cash to spare!!!! I got sick when i saw it was already gone. Reminder to look at autotrader and ebay daily.

No way. I know that stuff is cheaper in the States, but I can't believe you can buy a 996 turbo for $19K. That would be - what - £11K? There must be something wrong with it!

Um. Do you suppose there's no engine in the car? No pics of it in evidence! If that's the going rate for 996 Turbos then the NA cars must be free. Or maybe somebody just got a fantastic deal.

Says it runs smooth. Perhaps he's about to get devorced and he's angry. I saw a Ferrari 355 on Autotrader fro $30,000 a few years ago. That's what his story was.

Katrina car? It would smell fishy as many may still be in there rotting away.. To good to be true?

However, we recently bought a 2003 Boxster for maybe 70% of its real value due to the seller really wanting to get a new one. One never knows..

No, it's a scam. The same car is active in another auction. The buyer of the $19,000 auction of the car will contact the seller for payment, and the seller will say wire me an amount to hold it right away. Money sent quickly so you don't lose it and You'll never hear from him again.

Right from the give go, my BS detector was ringing loud and clear on this one.

A fool and his money are soon parted, indeed!

I ran a Carfax on it. It's been in Florida it's whole life until the NJ dealer bought it at auction. No wrecks or salvage title reported. It has some sort of PCM software recall that needs to be done by Porsche.
But really, $19K for a TT?

I just e-mail the following to "fam124" the buyer of the US$19k Porsche:

"The 911 you just bought has been the topic of some discussion on Rennlist (forums.rennlist.com) - an internet Porsche discussion group. You may not be aware the same car is also for sale here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2001-...QQcmdZViewItem) so please be careful - your new car purchase may be a scam."

Hopefully he/she won't get screwed.

I emailed the buyer also and he replied to me that he has not been able to get in touch with the seller. He has reported to eBay a possible "fraud" situation.

Looks like the original could have been and incorrect listing that was pulled early?
