118K - you could buy a 356 speedster (something like +100% over the last 10 years), a decent 73' RS which requires minimal work, try to find an RSR or something of that Ilk, or a GT03 Cup which has been raced professionally with a big name or 2. Or a USA Cup and have 40-50K left over

Not sure what Porsche's terms/conditions are, but there may be something you could do for short-term $$. i.e. like speculators often do with new limited-volume cars - flip it to someone who has the $$ and really does want one, with a small mark-up of your own. Or "sell" your option if allowed.

It may spike to an anxious person who want to be the first in his area to own one for the first week it is on the available in the states. But longer term it is not an investment. Historically many "limited" Porsches quickly went down quickly in value. 99% of the times cars are never a good investment. They are great investment for personal enjoyment.
