Default '94 964 C4 widebody coupe

Looking at this car tommorrow morning...any input as to what to look for? i currently have a couple of carrera's one of which is a FTL coupe and i see this car as a modern version. Does this car share brakes & suspension with the turbo? Is the awd a negative in SoCal? tia.

Records, new flywheel, distributor vent kit. Is his driveway wet from him washing the OIL off it?

Let me know if you don't buy it, I could be convinced to trade for a widebody..

Mikek,

It's identical to mine! Is it an Anniversary model? Beautifull, but then I'm biased!

If it is, I'd be keen to know the build number as there were only ever 911 of them made. I'm keen to find out how many were made in that colour. I believe a lot of them were purple metallic?

To answer your questions, the brakes were standard C4 as was the suspension. Only the widebody from the turbo were used. The rear brakes are the 4 pot calipers though, which I believe gives better service life than the original 2 pot jobs.

Cheers!

Frans (let us know how you go!)

BTW, it probably is a '93 build delivered in '94. By '94 only 993's were being built.

$29,500... that thing is beautiful. I'd trade my cabrio for that thing... then again 106K miles is quite a bit...

wow, what a beaut! I am no expert, but I would make sure the vin and engine cross check, and the color codes are proper. Adrians book says 256-450 of these were made. I am assuming it's a US turbo-look and not an anniversary model because that was ROW, and 1993 only.

Forget any reservations about it being a C4 (IMHO).

Let us know how it goes!!! good find! (me wiping drool off the keyboard)

If I recall correctly these were made becasue they had left over body shells late in the MY run? PAR has one in blue on their site too.

Believe it or not, there is a WB coupe in silver in my town (and it's a small town, as I have cows for neighbors....).
I was driving home the other night and nearly drove off the road as I kept staring at it as I drove by.
One more car to add to my 'wish list'.

There was a silver/red one with 6k miles on it that sold this spring from Cherry HIll Imports in NJ, I know the dealership owner. That particular car is on the market again too. Mucho dinero
