Default Does oxygen sensor fault cause a vibration?

I was convinced that my vibration was caused by a detiorating DMF until I read the fault code that lit up my check engine light when it all started. 1124. I expected it to be the flywheel sensor. The engine doesnt appear to misfire but it is low on power but it also seems to shake the whole car like an even vibration. It was sluggish to drive home. Is that the so called, limp home mode? Oil pressure and everything else seems perfect. Has anyone else had the same experience? Is it just a coincidence? Thanks for any advise. (91c2 67000 miles) Doug

I checked the distributer belt before I drove it home, its ok. I know the oxygen sensor has a problem I just wouldnt think its symptom would cause the power train to vibrate so much .
