Problem solved.

My car is back up and running.

Along with a good deal of diagnostic work, and a grand education both here, in Streather, in the Shop Manuals and in the engine bay of the car, I ended up with a new oxygen sensor and discovered, very much to my huge embarrasment, that I had left the AFM sensor connector disconnected when I did the AFM / ISV cleaning. I double checked everything I could see; twice. However, I had forgotten that there was a connector behind the AFM. What a dolt!

Many thanks to everyone for the input and support. Hopefully I can learn enough to pay it forward.

Cheers,
Dave
