Tried posting this on smartgroups but site not working.

Can anyone tell me if the gear packs at each side of the car where the roof pivots. These black disc shaped packs have a large bolt through the middle where 1 of the arms pivots. Should this bolt be hand tight or spanner tight.

Rob, Search the 993 board for cabriolet top problems. The mechanisms are the same as 964 but there are quite a few more threads on that board. Regards, Roy
