Rear Wheel Bearing Noise
I think my rear wheel bearings are worn or wearing.
My 964 is fitted with spacers so i'm expecting more wear and tear.
Are the bearings expensive?
Are they bearings that need to be pressed by a specialist?. Grateful for any advise.

I would be Interested to know if you have 17" cups or larger fitted to your car as i had my '93 C2 rear bearings checked out for wear as i was hearing a "rumble" from the rear, the car was jacked up on the lift and run up to 60mph with the mech underneath to listen to the mechanicals using a stethoscope..no noises or wear found !, he swapped the 17's with 16" design 90s and took it for a spin and the noise was gone...so it was put down to the tyres/wheel size and i went away from the workshop happy in knowing that the bearings were all fine PS: cup alloys are also fitted with spacers . This may ease the worry...Elliot
