I was there - about 15 Porsches altogether, from an SC to a GT3 and a very nice RUF Turbo. Sun shone, tyres were shredded and my fuel bill was horrendous having driven down from Liverpool, thrashed around the track, and driven home again. I bet Steve spent more though.. Dare I mention the Toyota Avensis hire car (you had to be there - he had me worried.....)

Steve and Cate were snapping away, I think there will be some pictures posted - nothing official from T911 though.

Another Steve was there taking photos - they're here: http://community.webshots.com/album/468622722TrLbgE

I love that AC Coupe, and the big Yank looked scary!

I'll sort some pictures in the morning.

Ian, a great link - some really good shots on there. We hope your tyres lasted the trip home.

Yeah, made it home OK - tyres fine (just) but needed to put in another litre of oil once I got there (in addition to the one I put in at lunch time). Rebuild booked for November!

Nice to meet you all, and put some faces to names - I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Just a couple of pics from Tuesdays track day. Sorry for the yellow car being in all of the shots but Cate had a vested interest in the pics she took.

Only a thought or two to go with the pics -
Note Barry's anti-scamera rear view

and

thanks to Steve for the Avensis picture - i don't even want to recall what happened next - the trauma is still with me!!

I just remembered that i had received this by e-mail.

The sender loved that the Midnight Blue car was ahead of the Yellow one

P.S. You'll have to look closely at the yellow car to see who he was ahead of
