Default distributor belt

Where are y'all accessing the distributor belts? I am told by a local dealer that they are not available. (1990 C4).

Thanks,

No pictures yet because I am in the data gathering mode. I was shocked at the dealer's response when I read here that you folks were replacing these. I am going to look at this car in about 15 minutes, wish me luck. I will not buy based on my drooling over such a fine machine, but rather the information that I have gathered here. I will not forget the mantra, PPI! I am sure glad that y'all are out here, it makes everything much less intimidating.

P.S. To Jim, I too have a 64 230sl. Geez, the oil leaks alone are enough to drive me crazy!

But the high reving sound of that inline 6 is like music when they are running right. Its kinda cool driving a car with a steering wheel that could have come from a bus
Good luck on your hunt.

But I am sure that they offered to let you test drive a 997....

Welcome to Rennlist! A great source of info and a great place to get other people to encourage you to spend your money.

p.s. The PPI mantra is good.......just don't forget the "post pictures" mantra.
