Question Engine Detailing?

As I've mentioned in another thread, my engine is out and getting fresh new gaskets to plug up those pesky leaks. I figure since I'm already waaaay over my original budget and heading for divorce court, what the heck.

I'm thinking of having the engine tray painted and the fan powder coated. The engine tray has a lot of surface rust & gunk and needs a good bead blasting. What kind of paint to use? Can it be done with a high tempurature engine paint or does it need to be powder coated like the fan shroud?

Well,

Powder coating would be better but I think high temperature pain would do just well.

And get rid of that engine compartment sound deadening!
