Im curious to find out from all 964 owners how often you change your oil? After how many miles? And the type/weight of oil you use.

I'm currently running Castrol Syntec 5W50 here in Northern Virginia. Drain interval, 5k-10k or once a year whichever comes first.

Have you tried searching the archives?(e.g., "oil", "mobil 1", etc.) There has been lots of discussion on this.

I follow Porsche's instructions in the maintenance manual. If I did heavy trackwork I would consider changing it more often.
