If it sticks to the 30th, i could still attend in a german car (but it'll just have the wrong kind of badge on the front...)
You could always bring the 912 - never seen one in the flesh. Or is that not current?

Rob,

I think so. It certainly looks like the majority are in favour of the 6th. Will we be seeing Christer sans 964?? Will it be fixed?? Will he get a lift??? These and many more questions will be answered on the day!!!

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Regards

Dave

Even if it's fixed by then (which I doubt) I'm not convinced he will have had time to collect it. I was assuming he'll probably get a lift from me although I haven't talked to him about it.

I'm sure he'll be grateful though - my car's much better than his. (At least, mine starts)

Not sure why I kept reading this thread....being on the wrong side of the Atlantic to atten, but I did have to find out what a "bacon butty" was....... It's Thursday - what have I learned today.....:

(From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.)

A bacon butty is essentially a bacon sandwich on white bread, usually with some form of gravy on it.

Streaky or back bacon may be used. It is fairly common in the United Kingdom, though in the United States the BLT is the preferred form of bacon sandwich.

The bacon butty is commonly (although not exclusively) employed as a staple and favourite breakfast throughout the United Kingdom. However, its exact composition is subject to debate - similar to the perfect cup of tea.

The variable components include :-

bread (white, brown, toasted, not toasted) butter (yes/no) Sauce (tomato ketchup, or brown)

Preparing a bacon sandwich for a guest in a non-preferred configuration will often lead to disappointment

I don't eat bacon butties normally, in Norway we don't really have that. We do however have sursild, lutefisk and other wonderful culinary delights that will amaze and make you physically ill... (not usually for breakfast though)

Oops. Having days off at the start of the week does make things confusing.
However, I feel my point is equally valid on Wednesday!
