Post Need Help in Porsche Part #

Hi Everyone,

I have a 90 C2 with a DMF wanting to change the clutch. I picked up a New Porsche Sach Pressure Plate Porsche Part # 964.116.028.03 that also comes with the Throw Out Bearing. I was wondering if this will fit my 90 C2.
Any info would be great

Thanks
GP

GP,

964.116.028.03 isn't a Porsche part number. Pressure plates thru 1991 are

964.116.027.90
964.116.027.01
964.116.028.00

The throw out or release bearing is 950.116.080.08 and applies to all years normally aspirated, except Carrera RS.

Hi Bill,

Just got a call back from a Porsche dealer they said that the part # 964.116.028.03 is for a 911 95-98 (993).
Also found out from lindsey racing that verified the dealers info.

Check its out:

My question is that being that the pressure plate with the part # 964.116.028.03 i purchased cheap, will that fit in a 90 C2, I already know that the T/O Bearing would fit.

Pls let me know Bill

Thanks again

I must have fat fingered the number when I checked for it. Sorry about that. I can't tell you for sure that it will fit. You'd really need to lay it up against a 964 part to check for size and fit, understanding that the strength of the pressure plate fingers may be different for the 993 application.
