No, no such luck. I should have said the nut is welded in, not the bolt. If I remember correctly, it is 5/16", not metric.

5/16-18 or 5/16-24 (sorry, I sell fasteners, so I have to ask)? Or stated otherwise, coarse or fine thread?

Thank you for your help!

Here is what I have (not) been able to accomplish since last info post:

-Porsche dealer in US and one in Canada can't even locate a part number for the bracket and bolt.

-Dealer says their is no welded nut under rear parcel panel, WilliamReinecke says there is (I'll go with William!)

-William says the bolt is a 5/16, probably am M10 on a German car, though. William, no offense at all, and THANK YOU for the photos!

At this point, I plan to buy an Audi anchor or an Anchor from a 996 or 997 (if they have them) and try to make this work. OR plan B: by the time I get this together, my 2 year-old will weigth 80 pounds and won't need a car seat! Ugh...

Bates - try contacting Red Rooster (Geoff) here. He imported his car to Canada from the UK and bought the hardware to install the 3rd anchor, IIRC. He might be able to tell you where he found it.

If you are looking for child seat tether anchor hardware, and aren't particular about OEM, you might try looking in the car seat or child safety section of "Babies R US" or a similar type store. When I imported my US Boxster into Canada I needed to update my "BACK SEATS" to include child restraint tether anchors. I found them at Canadian Tire for about $3. As shown in the pic.s above they are a pretty basic piece of hardware. The bolt size and thread will be more difficult to determine but with a little trail and error you should be able to find the right one.
