I removed my interior, ('87 Cab), I replaced some bits that looked a little tired and saved a lot of weight. Now I'm putting it altogether again for sale.

On relation to carpets here's my experience.

Easy task. When removing the seats be careful with the fastening bolts. They can be real tight and busting a knuckle aint no fun (ask me!)

The sound deadening that lies under the rear seats is glued with a gallon and a half of...well glue.

Unless you have had a leak in the past making the sound deadner smell, (again ask me!), then don't bother removing that. Its a hell of a mess and back breaking work to scrape off the old glue.

Keep all your old carpet and number it, label it and speread it on the ground in approx positions and photograph it. When it comes to identifying the new carpet pieces you'll find it useful to have these as references.

When you glue, have a breathing mask/apparatus.

Good luck.
Mark
