Mobil 1 15/50 (Motorsport) in th eUK??
Anyone found a good source for buying this oil in the UK. I've only found it at Halfords (£10.99/ litre or £34 for 5 litres).
Lots of places do the 0/40W stuff, but this is not recommended for the 964 as I underdstand (though I'm sure this will start an argument!)

I am not going to argue about which brand is better etc. and I agree with your 0W sentiment. I just wanted to let you know that I have found an outlet for Castrol RS 10-60W which I am going with next service. The price was £29.95 per 4.5 litres from memory and some people would argue that it is the best oil money can buy. Perhaps an alternative?
Again, if price is important I can try to remember to look next time I am at Costco. This time I only remember seeing the 0-40W at around £22 for a large can (not sure of exact size...)

Recently had full service etc, so don't want to mix oils.
Noticed level is low - though only minor little drip on garage floor. Unfortunatley, then ran my finger along underside of engine tray - coated in oil - BUGGER!!!!!
Methinks I have joined the reasonably noticable oil leak brigade!!
Oh well - not to worry (except Roygarth, who may wish to worry on my behalf )

I have used Mobil 1 Racing before (and a tankful is in my car now) but I have also used Silkolene ProV which is a 15/50 and £29 for 5l.
I used it in my Alpina B10 Bitubo which was a harsh enviroment and never had trouble.
I buy it from Road and Stage Motorsport in Morecombe, Lancs

Right. Got the oil at Halfors - on sale at £27.10 for 4 litres.
The good news is that after 1500 miles since my last service, only half a litre or so was used to restore the level gauge to its rightful place.
