Question C4 differential lock failures - any reported clutch disk failures?

I am curious if there have been any known cases where a C4 PDAS differential has failed where the clutch disk packs have worn out, requiring replacement.

Anyone have this happen to their car, or know of any that had this problem? Just curious

I've seen ads for 964's that have there differential clutch disks replaced.

And on a Dutch forum this week I've seen posts regarding a possible failure in the front differential.

As far as I know, it is not common to have problems with the 4wd system of the 964, but as our cars age, it will become more and more common.

Garrett,

I think the C4 diff's are very reliable. I have 205K miles on mine and had to to no service required beyond the scheduled fluid replacement.
