Shame on me, but after 2 years of 964 ownership I've just discovered that my car came without front plastic bottom cover ( I thought all 964's were like mine ). In other words, front diff is "naked" . Is it an important part ? Can it affect fuel consumption or handling ? And finally, is it an expensive part and can I fit it with DIY work ?

It would be nice to have the piece. I think it's about $80 in the States' dealerships, and it's not hard to put on at all...
