Good question. One would think Porsche would have selected the lighter mag wheels for the racing series. The only thought is that the mag wheels are too delicate for sustained heavy racing use? The road going RS should not be jumping off curbings or bumping wheels to door with other cars as the racing Carrera Cup did every weekend.
