Headlamp Area Paint Bubbles
I have a couple of small bubbles in the paintwork around the nearside headlight. One of them is definitely a rusting stonechip but the other looks more suspect. I need to get to the underside of the metalwork to see whether or not I have a corrosion problem, I understand that there is a lot of kit in this area (washer bottle etc)-is it possible to get a good view of this area from the wheelarch or should I go in via the headlight?

I would take out the headlight personally. If that does not work then the rest. I think you should be able to see enough with the headlight out.

Thanks Adrian, I have previously taken off the trim ring to invstigate how the headlamp is held in but can only see the two adhusting screws-any idaes on how to get the whole assembly out?
Kevin,
The screw that holds on the trim ring screws into another screw (at the bottom of the light!) Once you have removed the trim ring you should see it. Unscrew this and remove the light. Don't touch the 2 adjuster screws at the top of the light though!!
Hope this helps!
