Post cab rear window

I'm considering buying a cab with a bad rear window. Can it be replaced without doing the whole top? How much would it cost?

High,
using the right cleaners and polishes a rear window can be made alot clearer(remove haze and light scratches)it takes alot of time and effort but I have done it on a few cabs. you might wanna give that a shot before replacing. As far as I know the rear window can be replaced, either the plastic itself, the rear section of the top w/the window sewn in(prob. won't match), or the whole top itself...good luck!

Bill,

Yes, you can replace the rear window only. If I remember correctly, it cost about $250.

There's a couple of good auto upholstery shops in the area; let me know if you want some names.

Thanks! The one I'm looking at has a brown window, beyond saving. Like patio furniture in Phoenix - the sun will scorch it in one afternoon.

The top looks otherwise fine.
