Wink 75K Service: Costs and Leak Down #'s

In case anyone's interested, I just picked up my car and here's the damage for the 75K service:

10 hours labor
$100/hr = $1,000
Parts = $588

Total = $1,588

Service included a leak down test in addition to valve adjustment, new plugs, oil chg, gear oil, brake flush and other checks. Parts included oil and filter, plugs, dist caps and rotors, valve cover gaskets, power steering fluid, brake fluid and fuel filter.

Leak Down Test results:
1) 4%
2) 5%
3) 5%
4) 5%
5) 4%
6) 4%

I had two bad spark plug wires and a faulty distributor cap elbow which were also caught during the service and addressed (add'l $54 in parts).

She's running smoother than ever and continues to pull like a mule. I also reset the chip to take full advantage of the latest adjustments.

Questions? Comments?

Interesting that most parts are cheaper in the US, but your labour rates are higher. Labour is about £40-£45/hr here, about $80 inc taxes

.. great leak down numbers BTW...
