Question Warning Lights - one for Adrian?

Hi Everyone,

It may be only Adrian that can answer this one, but here goes:

Having read about the green indicator for the traction control on the oil temp/level gauge not having a bulb installed, but will work if you put a bulb in, I thought I'd have a look. I have no bulb behind this symbol, but also two other blanks - the engine check light, and another (top left). I gather that the engine check light was not used until later models (mines a 90 C4), but didn't know what the other light was for. More interesting is there is a bulb installed, that never lights up (the bulb may have failed, but it looked fine). This is the one next to the green traction control light, it's a picture of a side section of the car with arrows going up and down in the middle! Does anyone know what this one's for, and when it should come on?

Cheers,
Pete 90 C4 Coupe.

Dear Pete,
I have already answered this question for you on another forum. The warn light you speak about was for an adjustable ride height system that was planned for the C4 but never incorporated.
Ciao,
