91 max octane in CA!
A Chevron dealer told me that due to clean air regulations, as of August 1, 91 will be the maximum octane gasoline in California. In fact, Chevron has just taken the 92 octane decals off the supreme pumps and replaced them with 91 octane decals.
I suppose it's obvious, but what does this mean for those of us who have replaced our stock chips with "performance" chips, which require a minimum of 92 octane gasoline? What are our options?

Ooops.
I guess fuel additives if they are available.
I posted the other week on just this subject. The FVD Performance Chips require 98 Octane Fuel with additives to work properly.
I wonder if somebody can tell us what the equivalent of Octane ratings in the USA are compared to here in Europe. We use 95 and 98 Octane fuel here. What is the equivalent at the pump in the USA,
Ciao,
Adrian.
