Sounds like that there is no new refrigerant popular enough except R12 & 134a, will keep my R12 in system until next time need to be refilled. Thanks for your advice.

Whenever anyone ridicules my research I just chalk it up to their ignorance.I am not overly concerned. I have been listening to this kind of talk for almost 8 years. The main thing is that I'm not riding around with 134a in my car and many of you are. Think of me the next time you see one of these burned out cars on the side of the interstate or when you have to take your car into the shop to replace the compressor or the evaporator. Remember Agent Orange they also told us it was safe. Tell that to the men who were sprayed wiyh it. This was also provided by Dupont.
