Hard Wiring Radar Detector
Has anyone hard wired their radar detector? I have a Valentine 1 with a remote display that I would like to install. Thanks in advance for your help.

I'm mounting a V1 just above the mirror so it get's power from the dome light. The wiring is simple, but be sure to use the direct power adapter that comes with each V1. The adapter is basically a surge protector to make sure only clean power gets to the V1.
