Question interior carpet

What length and width of carpet would I need if I were to recarpet my car interior?
The whole passenger compartment? I fancy doing it myself and getting a better quality of carpet than the original..

thanks

Kevin

Guys,

anyone know? anywhere I could ask.......

Yes this is a shameless bump....

The automobile trimming company in the UK are selling automotive carpet material for £8/metre., so all I need to know is the minimum width I require and just how long it would all be if laid out on the floor.

TIA

Kevin, <a dumb question here> Is there any way you can pull the old carpet out to get an idea? What will you do about the edges of the carpet? Are you talking about doing the whole job yourself or giving the measurements to the other company? Just curious...

Rick,

I'm going to be doing the whole job myself, but can't get the old carpet out at the moment due to still driving the car, it's going to be a winter job....

I'm sure Southbound would tell you, Kevin.

Failing that, you could try MarTrim, who did my carpets for me using material from Southbound, so THEY will certainly know how much is needed. Friendly, approachable people too - they won't mind telling you, but I don't have their details handy.
