Post How many Litres for oil change?
Hi All

I've seen it mentioned but can't find it in 'search' - how many litres do I need to buy for oil change?

I think its 12 liters, buy 13 to be on the safe side.

Changing the oil this weekend?

Total capacity is about 12 quarts, oil change (with filter change) is about 10 quarts. You can't get all the oil out. Your owner's manual has exact specifications.

My 993 takes ~10.5 quarts when I change the oil & filters.

Like Dave said, capacity is more, but you don't get all oil out.

Take a look at Bentley Publishings Web Site. They have posted an extract of Adrians book explaning the oil system including which & how much oil to use!
