I'm trying to amass a collection of photos of various Porsches in strange colours. From what I've found so far, the 964 RS seems to be the one most commonly decked out in different colours. If anyone has pics of some of the more rare colours, such as Rubystone, Riviera Blue, Maritime Blue, or those funky "mint" greens, etc, I'd appreciate a link or an email with them. Thanks for any help.

PS. That looks like Rubystone PINK to me!!

PPS. My car is Satin Black Metallic, code L729 which was not a colour offered as standard on the options list - check my p-caronline to see it - it's a mix between grey & black!

Thanks for the help guys. There are two reasons for gathering colours. One, I'm trying to do something different. Two, I have a 951 in the process of a rebuild. Come spring, it needs a total repaint. It will NOT be black, silver, or grey!

Difference Engine, search the archives, there was a post started by Melissa, I believe, that had TONS of funky colors submitted.

I submitted one in Coral Red Metallic...while not as funky as Mint Green, it's pretty funky. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Personally, I like Amazon and Forest Green...but Ferrari Fly Yellow takes the cake!

But at least I now have a list of colours. Just need to find examples.

Anybody know the name of the purple (ish) car in "myturbo36"'s post, Its the same as my C4 but i don't know the actual name / code!
