Default loss of power st high RPMS

hey guys, i took the car today for a long drive, after 3 months at the body shop(dont even ask), anyway, first it gave me hard time to start, i had to try at least 20 times before it started, then i noticed that a high rpms 6K up, the car feel weak like its chocking. anyway, i did my research on rennlist and i came up with the resonance flap as a suspect, i checked all the connections and everything looks fine, but how do i know if its working??
also, this is the second time my car gave a me a hard time to start after sitting for a while, what could it be?? plugs?? wires????? both distributors and working fine, the little belt is fine also.
thanks for you help

Default Gas?

First off, put some good, clean fuel in. Long term sitting is bad for the fuel.

Check the coils.
Last week I had a high RPM issue and found I couldn't find the distributor belt.

Every time you turn the key to the "on" position the solenoid that powers the resonance flap opens it once. It makes an audible "pop" sound in the engine compartment. Listen for that. If you don't hear anything, there may be a problem with a connection or the solenoid.
