Post Spaced OUT!

I don't intend the following as an advertisement for a business or anything...rather would consider it a great referral for what a lot of you guys seem too need with our never-ending urge to put bigger tires underneath our 964s.

www.inertiawerks.com is a "side-business" started by an acquaintence of mine. He started out just making spacers 3.1mm and 6.5mm - and has since progressed onto more products to offer.

I noticed on his website that he is having a sale on 3.1mm (3mm) spacers for $25 a pair. This is an AWESOME deal as companies like Gemballa and a few others would only produce them in the last few years and they got over $60 a pair for them!!

I paid $40 for a used pair, they don't look anymore special than regular spacers.

I have a pair of his 3.1mm spacers as well...so now I have TWO 3mm sets to use along with my assortment of 5 and 6mm spacers for the various configurations I have for track/street wheels.

Just thought I'd share that info.

Wink

I might take 2 pairs of the 3.1mm. I always meant to do the rear anyway and I might as well do the front in preparation for 225's....mind you the Kumho's seem to still have 9mm or so on them at the front....

I'll email you off line.

cheers!

Adrian, I am Vice Prez of my region.

I know, it sounds like a shameless sales tactic...but I don't benefit from it whatsoever...I actually had to BUY my spacers from him.

He's a great guy with some innovative ideas - check out his site and you'll see.

PS: One of the kool things about most people that use this forum or rennlist in general do so with out gaining any financial or material advantage for what they recommend.

That's EXACTLY what I had in mind when I started this post...no interest except that I'm a satisfied customer.

A year ago, when I realized I needed a set of 3mm spacers...I couldn't find any. From what I understand, 1/8" (3.1mm) spacers were plentiful years ago with the 914 and the early narrow bodied 911s that needed just that extra space for 225s on the rear??

Everything I found wasn't "Porsche specific"...and these are. So, just wanted to share a good source. Since posting, Inertia Werks has emailed me to say that sales have picked up a bit.

...seems someone "dropped" my name?
