Question 91C4 A/C switch help!

This morning, the darned push-button switch came loose as I tried to turn on the a/c and literally fell out in my lap! I tried to slip it back in, it fits fine but will not stay in the "on" position...is there an easy fix or am I looking at removing the whole control unit? Thank you, Fred C, Ottawa, Canada.

Fred,

Once the switch has come apart you have no option but to get a new switch from your OPC. The switch fits into the panel from the INSIDE, so you have to remove the unit from the dash, remove the front cover and light guides and snap it in from the rear. It's a bit fiddly but not that difficult.

Regards

Dave

I had the same problem with the demist/re-circ. switch on my Air Con unit. Below is a thread I started a while back which includes the part numbers. As Dave said, they're easy to replace, but not cheap as you have to buy the whole switch rather than just the covers.
