Post Body Kits?

Hello All

Last friday I was driving here in the mountains here in Colorado when Bambi and family jumped into the road. I missed the deer but smacked my C4 into the guardrail <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" /> . Apparently I'm going to have to replace the whole right side plus two Kinesis wheels. In light of the amount of work it needs, I'm considering just making it a carbon fibre widebody -- either 964 turbo S flatnose or standard 964 turbo style. I'm thinking that I can drop some weight and pretend that I have a new car. A few questions . . .

1.Anyone have any experience with AIR or GT-Racing?
2.Any other suggestions on companies?
3.Both body styles have twin ehaust provisions. Can I get more power with a twin exhaust (like Fabspeed)? I'm currently running with a cup by-pass pipe, KN filter and drilled box.
4.Is a MAF upgrade worth while with twin exhausts?
5.Can I run wider tires with the larger flares? I'm currently running 225/45/17 & 255/40/17.
6.Am I missing anything else that I should be considering?
7.Am I nuts for considering such a project? I have no intention of selling my baby so resale is not a factor.

Thank you for any and all help!

Michael

When considering fiberglas or carbon parts, contact Mike Shaw (MA Shaw) in California. He has top quality parts, and is a good person to work with.

Hi Bill

Thanks for the advice on contacting Michael Shaw. He's a really nice/helpful person. I pretty much know what I'm doing with the body now.
