Cool Old Army airport to drive on, where??

Does anybody know a old and left Army airport in the West of Germany or in the East of The Netherlands.

This would be a perfect spot to drive around in your Porsche, with a good safety % because of the wide grass escapes near the landing and take off places.

I see this often on The BBC program TOP GEAR.

Have a nice weekend,

Arjan

Talking

It'll only take you a couple of hours to run down to our next Slalom in Sembach - near Kaiserslauten.

Be there about 09.00 on Sunday the 4th August and not only can you have some great driving experience (not Top Gear drifting but real slalom driving) but you can meet many others infected with the Porsche bug.

Cool

Thanks,
That would be to short time, next week is the oldtimer rennen at the Nürburgring, so after that I drive a little around on the Nordschliefe.

Thanks anyway!

No Problem, Invite still stands for our last Slalom of the year on the 1st September.

There will be two rounds of the Porsche Club Deutschland slalom championship on the back straight of the "old" grand prix circuit on Sunday the 8th September. This is good fun but the Armco barriers are solid if you get it wrong.

That's the old grand prix circuit at Hockenheim not the Nurburg ring <img src="graemlins/nono.gif" border="0" alt="[nono]" />
