Hi all

This thread is intended for all UK listers interested in a Zymol / Barbecue day out in the Cambridge area!

Please respond to this thread if you are interested in attending. I will endevour to set the dates / times within the next few weeks etc as soon as I have a better idea as to the numbers. I have also taken the liberty of choosing a few dates. Any weekend in August??

Please respond with an email address so that I may create a plan for the day!

just a thought, but have you thought of contacting the UK Zymol guys to sponsor this? or did you want to keep it a corporate-free zone?

I just contacted the Zymol agents in the UK ( <a href="http://www.sportscarworld.ltd.uk" target="_blank">www.sportscarworld.ltd.uk</a> ) to ask whether they would be prepared to sponsor a Demo Kit for the day, However, we will still have the day out either way!

I just caught up with the list and saw this thread. Richard , thanks for taking the initiative, this is just what I wanted <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" /> .......but,

August stinks for me <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" /> I am away right up till the end of the month so will miss the 18th !!!!

Well.... Seeing as this is still in plan phase I propose that things may still shift. I do however get the feeling from other listers that the 18th is probably the "best fit". Once I get a matrix together of who can do when I propose to mail all of you with the final date, time, and place! I would love to accomodat as many of you as possible for a cuople reasons.

a) Zymol Demo
b) Meet each other face to face!

most importantly

c) Maybe organise something on a regular basis, I can think of loads of +'s to meeting from drinks and tecky discussions from time to time, we might even tackle a job like a suspension upgrade etc. do it at a given venue (practical is always a good way of learning something) IMO of course, "maybe cause I is a little dim!"

Hi all

Just as an update:

So far there are 6 confirmed for Sunday 18th August 2002.

I am currenlty trying to confirm the venue, However, I live in a cul-de-sac with parking for around 5 cars directly in front of my house, and loads more on the street leading in so I may keep the original plan of hosting the event at my home.

I beleive it is rumoured that Zymol may have accepted the request for some form of sponsorship on the day, Sounds great!

Hi all

Ok, I have had a confirmation that Zymol have agreed to sponsor a Concourse Starter kit and a couple of other goodies for the day .. I will now presume that everyone interested in coming has posted a reply ??

We have a couple more place available if anyone is still unterested, Please repond to this thread with a contact mail address!
