Default has anyone ever modified 993 projector (HID) lights to fit a 964

I have H4's on my car....
the H4 HID bi-xenon retrofit kits I've seen from the UK are expensive... but more importantly aren't really made for projecting light through the H4 like a projector would.

I want HID but will not comprimise other oncoming drivers visibility.

has anyone ever grafted a 993 xenon projector light to fit a 964?

I did a quick search, but didn't find too much.

Default Source for HID

vertexauto.com claims to have the kits for most Porsches-Just saw it in their ad in the current Pano.

their site didn't say anything about kits...
just OEM replacement parts (unless I missed something)

I e-mailed vertex a little while back about the HID kit for 964's. It only has low beam, not high beam...... (the Vertex guy commented that the HID low beam is so good, you don't need high beams.....) We are required to have both in Massachusetts......

here is a site I found because the owner was at a VW/Audi show (waterfest) last weekend

http://www.hidplace.com/8000k.html

if you look down the list, he has a hi/low H4 kit available.
the sale price at the show was $440 USD... so I assume if you mention you were at the show he should be able to work something out

I saw the kit there. it looked pretty decent. the best I've seen without having to buy adapters for the bulbs or hacking apart the light housing.
