Post Remote Cab top operation?

does anyone know if this is a standard feature of the alarm on Cabs ? I have seen this talked about several times. I do not have my orignal keys so I would like to know if it is possiable to install this if my cab did not have it?

"you can aim the key fob at the car, and it
closes any open windows, then closes the hood, then locks the car."

Have you tried asking your local OPC about this,or the local Club?
Although aimimg and pressing a remote may appear 'cool', I must say I prefer my wife's Mazda's hand operated system...less to go wrong...and quick to erect.
When things do go wrong, you then find you have to buy an electric motor with attached gearbox, rather than a replacement cog for the gearbox!at £££'s 0r $$$'s.(personal experience)

Dear John,
Remote operation of anything was not available on the 964 series. If you see remote operated locks, alarms cab roofs etc these are all aftermarket installations or in the case of the UK, dealer installed after delivery to the dealership,
Ciao,

My 93 C2 Cab had the OPC alarm fitted. It incorporated a "full closure" feature. This feature allowed the remote locking feature to initiate a closure sequence that closed the windows and the roof......now, it also has a bypass switch mounted on the transmission tunnel so that you can disable the closure feature and still close the car, this means you can leave the car with the hood down and the alarm on but the internal sensor is inhibited.

I found this out the hard way...I had the cover on the hood whilst it was down and used th remote...the winows went up and not the hood....when I got back home and rmovd the cover the hood wouldnt move...the fuse had blown.

I upgraded the alarm to a Cat 1 scorpion and the guy who fitted it pnt th whole ay whining and moaning due to the fact that it had the full closure feature as it made the installation complicated, however he did it and I know hav the new alarm with the full cliosure feature
