Default Apex Performance

Does anyone know the deal w/ Apex Performance? I ordered some rotors (that I need) on 7/4 and have not received a return email (three sent) and the phone just rings and rings…and rings. Are they still in business? They sent two order conformation emails, but haven’t responded to my inquiries on date of shipment. I guess I should contact my credit card company and stop payment….

can speak for apex but i can vouch for pelican parts, the are a class act!!!!!!! try them next time you will be impressed with service and emails that give you tracking and the whole nine.

They did some computer upgrade which derailed their order processing capability. I was in a similar situation and got a hold of Jim. We had to start the order from scratch but he followed through just fine.

Okay, that's a different outfit.

Why not try your P-car dealer? My local OPC gives me some PCA and "frequent customer" discount--just ask for it. I paid $120/disc for front replacements a few months back, which is up about $20 each from last year.

The nice thing is that they are usually in stock, you skip the freight charge and they come with that nice rustproofing already applied. I got something like 15-20 track days out of my last set of fronts.

I had the same experience with this company about 4 months ago and I've seen where others have as well. Never got a confirmation email or any resonse after I placed my order. I called and called and got no response. I finally was able to send a pm to one of the owners through rennlist (I forget his username) and he told me they were having some computer problems but that they still had my order. I eventually got what I ordered but it took a long time.

Thanks guys, I ordered w/ Pelican today (cheaper than my shop and the dealer by about $50 even after shipping) and will try to contact Apex to cancel.

That's just great.. I ordered clear markers for my 964 two weeks ago and no emails, no response to my email, no answer on the phone and no FAX.. Here is the guys info from a reverse lookup.. anyone know him here?

Don't know what you paid, but I've just ordered clear parts from Sunset Imports. I think the prices were quite nice. I have seen them else where for close to $200 per side.

Gary- he posts on here occasionally and sending a PM was the only way I was able to contact him when I had an order in limbo. Unfortunately I don't remember his username and it's gone from my PM box. You can do a search for the word "apex" and it may come up in his signature.

I wouldn't mind as much if they simply took the web site down. Now I have to worry about fraud on my CC and THAT really pisses me off, especially since they are sponsors here!

Uhhhh.... I just ordered clear markers from them the other day.

On a positive note, I did get 2 confirmation e-mails. Maybe something is happening, I dunno....
