I purchased some kind of manual on microfiche for about $35.00US 5 years ago. I thought I was getting the factory manual on fiche but I can't imagine what I got has the same content as what was mentioned above for $300 to $1200 in hardcopy. I do remember being hit with about $20.00 worth of duty. I have found it somewhat useful.

Starting with the 964 the factory manuals really went downhill. If you are used to the earlier manuals this is going to be a big disappointment.

I got my shop manuals off eBay for $335 delivered. It also came with the Technik manual on the 964.

These manuals are a good reference, the Bentley book (spiral) stays in my car. I have Adrian's book as well. You start getting some repetition by having all three. Another one to look for is the little Technical Specifications book from Porsche that gives fastner specs, torque specs and fluid capacities for the 964 series. It's around $30 from Performace/Automotion or Mid-America (Tweeks).

This forum is one of the best resources out there as well.

FYI- If anybody is looking for a set of factory manuals for the 964 I have an extra set available. They are basically in new condition. I would rather sell them to a fellow Rennlist member than on ebay.
