The builder says he's a few weeks ahead of schedule.
Ha!! Famous last words....

I'm happy because after putting only 20 miles on the P in the last 15 days I finally got the time to take her for a proper drive. 120 miles of bliss with lots of twisties and big hills (5000+ in elevation gain). And wouldn't you know it; gas is $.25 cheaper out in the boonies.

I'm pissed off because even though I asked the local emissions testing facility NOT to use the holes in the jacking points as tie-down locations for their dyno-testing they still went ahead and tried! So $29 later I have a failed emissions sticker and a trouble ticket at the state agency which they have 48hrs to respond to. Why is there so much incompetence in the automotive servicing field? You have service advisors not knowing the first thing about the brand they work on and mechanics with absolutely zero common sense? wtf?

I remember weekends like what you described... You have a bad day and think back... then the day isn't so bad in comparison...

You didn't go into details but it sounds like you had a wonderful time... And reminded me of a few of my own past ones...

I hope you sent Sandy flowers!

No, I didn't give them enough time to do any damage.
